Heritage Sponsorship

Heritage Sponsorship of the Kenya Jacaranda costs £1,000 (more if you so wish) and establishes a permanent connection between sponsor and KJ which we will express in the form of life membership of Kenya Jacaranda Heritage Sailing, a framed certificate and a permanent plaque on board.

Pledge-a-Plank

There is vital work to do on ‘KJ’ and it is extensive, requiring around 2000 linear feet of planking, 45 ribs and the nails, caulking cotton and red lead putty vital to complete the job.

To achieve this, we are asking people to sponsor a specific part of the work by pledging to pay for the planking, ribs, fixtures and fittings necessary to complete the work in a traditional way. If you wish to help us, please fill in the attached form and return it with your payment to the address printed at the bottom.

Membership

Membership of Kenya Jacaranda Heritage Sailing is open to everyone and, whether you have a talent for sailing, maintenance, raising funds or simply wish to support us with your membership fee, you will have the great satisfaction of helping to maintain a fine sailing tradition.

Membership fees are: -

Individual £52 p.a.
Family £120 p.a. (all children under 18)
Group (up to 12 named individuals) £250 p.a.
